LS-MPT100 Digital Micro Soil Penetrometer
LS-MPT100 is a rechargeable handheld penetrometer for rapid checks on cohesive soil in the field or laboratory. Cylindrical and 30-degree cone tips extend the indicated range to 2660 kPa, with live pressure display and peak hold for trial-pit logging, sample description, compaction checks, and preliminary bearing or consistency assessment.
Three Interchangeable Tips
Two cylindrical tips and one cone tip provide different contact areas and penetration depths for a wider range of cohesive-soil consistency.
Digital Reading and Peak Hold
Direct kPa indication and retained peak values simplify repeated field logging compared with a spring scale and sliding witness ring.
Rechargeable Field Instrument
A compact 600 g body and more than five hours of typical operating time support trial pits, trench inspections, sampling campaigns, and laboratory intake checks.
Use Results as Estimates
Pocket penetrometer readings are screening estimates affected by soil structure, moisture, particles, disturbance, and correlation method; they are not a substitute for laboratory strength testing.
